CAR HIRE – BOOKING INFORMATION
(PRICES FOR 2005)
The following cars/vehicles (or similar models) are available for hire from the local HONDA AGENT in Paphos and are reliable and well maintained. Prices are on the average 20% cheaper than elsewhere and are inclusive of comprehensive insurance (Collision Damage Excess has been waived). A ‘Special’ deal on prices and insurance has been arranged for users of our house. Prices are shown in Cyprus Pounds and converted to Sterling at CY£0.90 cents = £1 (the current rate of going to press) (Sterling prices are shown in brackets).

Collection from Larnaca Airport : This can be arranged. Please ask for further details. The HONDA AGENT will pay the taxi fare one way from the airport (Costing CY£45.00 (£50.00) provided you hire a car from him (minimum of 2 weeks). Clients to pay for the return journey.
Conditions for Hire :
a. Current UK Driving Licence and Passports required.
b. Driver’s Age : Minimum 21 and maximum 70 years.
c. All traffic fines incurred are the client’s responsibility.
d. Free and unlimited mileage.
e. Punctured tyres replaced free of charge but not damaged tyres.
f. No refund for unused petrol.
g. 7 days minimum hire (any days less add 15% more per day on prices)
h. Full fuel tank will be charged (in Cyprus money) at commencement of hire. Leave empty at Paphos airport on departure
i. Prices includes windscreen damage and tyre damage at CY£0.50 cents per day.
General Information :
a. Full 24 hour day service.
b. Maintenance, oil and greasing.
c. Change of car/vehicle in case of breakdown.
d. Safety belts in all cars/vehicles,
e. Child seats on request.
f. Free road maps on request.
Maximum of 2 people are insured per car/vehicle (extra drivers are required to pay CY£1.50 per day extra. There is also a CY£100 excess damage clause. Driving is on the same side of the road as in UK. Collection at Paphos Airport by either the car hire representative or a taxi can be arranged – please ask for further details. Hire forms are signed at the airport on arrival for the car/vehicle, followed by a visit by the client as soon as possible to the Honda Agent, preferably the same day or the next morning. Night flights only :- The car hire representative will visit the house between10am to 11am the next day to sort out the paperwork. A map on how to get to the Honda Agent is in the house ‘Information Folder’ – please leave for other house users.
Settlement of car/vehicle hire is between the client and the Honda Agent direct.
VISA/ACCESS/MASTERCARD only, CASH (Cyprus Pounds) – all accepted for payment.
All bookings for cars/vehicles are arranged via Mike and Ann Cross when flight details are confirmed by you on the Booking Form enclosed.
